I write this a little later than the 10th anniversary of the SiIvaGunner channel. Technically, they've been around for longer than that, since they had GiIvaSunner prior to that, (not to be confused with GiLvaSunner, an actual VGM channel that existed before GiIva or SiIva.

I was not a SiIvaGunner fan until a few years after they started. I want to say the earliest event I can remember is Gadget Week 2 in 2018? Ultimately I never got duped by the channel without knowing what it was, never ended up watching much of GiLvaSunner either, i was more of a BrawlBRSTRMs3 guy while that channel was still on YouTube. (it's been four years since GiLva was terminated, R.I.P.).
Anyways, SiIvaGunner has been a pretty major part of my life since I was far, far, too young to watch the channel. I've met most of my friends by orbitting on the periferary of the SiIvaGunner community, and while I've done less and less relating to SiIva, especially since I stopped actively working on KVGM, I've found myself still coming back to the channel to this day.
I met Lags and MariGunner, my cohosts on CMMK through SiIvaGunner and ripping related channels on Discord. Without them I don't know where I would've ended up, or who I would've ended up becoming. I can't imagine I would grow to be a similar person though. Really, SiIvaGunner and ripping helped me break out of my shell to some extent, having a shared interest with these talented people, being able to create whatever I wanted in this format by making mashups, creating memes and jokes alongside serious attempts to create good music, Ripping will forever hold a place in my heart, even as I move away from it.

I guess that's all I wanted to say on the matter for now, since I don't want to do too much here and cannibalize future pages on SiIva. but really, this channel does mean the world to me. Thank you for reading.
