The Harlem Shakeover

The Harlem Shakeover was a Season 6 event where Ajit Pai made his grand return to SiIvaGunner. It would prove to be one of the most ambitious events of the time, with 300-odd rips, 2 OST completions (VVVVVV and Harlem Blade: Greatest of All Time), and even a video game.

Background

In the original King for a Day tournament, Ajit Pai, at-the-time chairman of the FCC and opponent of net neutrality, was a joke character, with a sourcelist featuring Harlem Shake, fidget spinners, and slow internet. It should be noted that when this all happened, the FCC's attempt to repeal the "Obama-era regulations" of net neutrality were extremely unpopular among people who knew anything on both sides of the aisle. Go to any subreddit made before the event, and there will likely be a post asking people to sign a petition to show their support for net neutrality.
Not helping his popularity, Ajit made an extremely pandering video in which he played with fidget spinners, Nerf guns, and did the Harlem Shake. This was recieved horribly, as he basically picked a fight with every internet user above the age of 5 by stating that the only things people did online were watch cat videos, engage in fandom culture, and "ruin memes"
This is the moment Ajit became associated with Harlem Shake.

On SiIvaGunner, Ajit would take after his Daily Caller video, doing the Harlem Shake and playing with fidget spinners. Ajit, being extremely unpopular and having barely anything to offer source-wise, immediately lost to Fortnite and Marvel rep Thanos. After losing to Thanos, Ajit would get snapped, and turn to dust. It would seem like he would be dead at this point, a one-off joke, but then came King for Another Day.

KFAD 2 is one of the best projects on the SiIvaGunner channel. 32 contestants fighting for a takeover, with story and some of the best arrangements to come out of SiIva, the King for Another Day tourament was truly an incredible experience from start to finish, even though my main placed 4th and did'nt receive a prize until 2025, 6 years after the tournament ended. For Ajit though, it would see him beocoming a mech piloted by the dust that had been snapped by Thanos, known as Metal Ajit Pai. He would recieve a slight rework of his sources, as well as the addition of mecha anime related sources. Ajit would go on to actually not place dead last this time, but fall long before getting to the final four. That would seem to be the end of Ajit Pai, until 4 seasons later, when the Shakeover started properly.

The Harlem Shakeover

The Harlem Shakeover began with the video "Hello :)", revealing that after being decommisioned, Ajit Pai's dust flew into SiIvaGunner's computer, causing him to have access to the channel. He immeidately got to work, uploading a nonstop stream of Harlem Shake rips.

Highlights

The first proper rip of the event, Ajit uses half his sourcelist in one go.

SiivaGunner's longstanding joke game Maroon GO gets ripped, with a remix of One More Night.

One of the last rips to be uploaded for the event, this one is insane. The entirity of Through the Fire and the Flames mashed up with Harlem Shake. Holy shit.

Ending

The Harlem Shakeover would end with the release of "PSA From Former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai". The video would have the digital apparition of Ajit finally meet his match at the hands of SiIvaGunner's antivirus, and be thrown into the trash... for now. The story of Ajit seems to have ended here, and what an ending it was. 300+ rips accross over a week, all with one joke. It's genuinely insane. Until Siiva decides to make Ajit come back ten years from now, Ajit's story on Siiva is likely over, outside of the occasional anniversary rip or other mention.

Kolo Terrorita

Kolo Terrorita is the video game I talked about at the begining of the page, and neglected to mention until now. A shoot-em-up video game similar to Vampire Survivors, Kolo Terrorita is only around 20 minutes long, but has Ajit fight SiIvaGunner's antivirus. I'm not very good at it, at the very least never beat the hard mode, but one can play it here.
